Marriages Made in Heaven
by Rabbi Lynnda Targan

In the Torah, God is recognized as the first matchmaker and a partner in the covenant of marriage. Explore traditional Jewish texts on marriage and the meaning of marriage as covenant. Understand how Judaism supports the idea of home as mikdash me'at (a small Temple), and holds the value of sh'lom bayit (peace in the home), in high esteem. Return to the state of kedusha, holiness that launched the marriage at the chuppah. Discover how to re-awaken a sleeping marriage and/or learn how to change the course of a negative relationship by building on the positive, nourishing aspects of marriage.
